Gown Friday: Marchesa Spring 2012

Ah, Marchesa can do no wrong.  And this dreamy dress above is my absolute favorite.  Gorgeous sweetheart neckline and a fabulous skirt pouf of tulle--so fun!
See you all next week!

Gown Friday: BHLDN

Happy Friday and happy Mother's Day to all the mamas out there!  I hope you have a wonderful weekend.  BHLDN has three new gowns to add to their already swoon-worthy collection.  The above Crepe De Chine Column Gown caught my attention with it's classic silhouette that is effortlessly feminine, and the Scalloped Fingertip Veil of the third dress is absolutely stunning!!  I had to add the last three as a sampling of my favorites from the original BHLDN launch. Nothing but sweet eye candy...Oh how I wish we had a store here in Portland...

Gown Friday: Royal Wedding Dress!

In one of the most anticipated fashion events of the decade, Kate's unveiling of her royal wedding gown was nothing short of spectacular.  Designed by the fashion house of the late designer Alexander McQueen, Sarah Burton created a stunning gown with delicate Chantilly lace sleeves and the white and ivory skirt designed to resemble an opening of a flower.

Reminiscent of the iconic Grace Kelly gown, I am completely in love with her choice.  Perfectly understated and simply elegant--just what a young royal should represent. What a magical event!  See you ladies next week!

Gown Friday: Kenneth Pool Spring 2012

Here is the Kenneth Pool Spring 2012 collection.  I love how he keeps the trendy trumpet silhouette brides are crazy about, while emphasizing the natural waist with a beaded belt or silky tied bow.  Why is this important?  Because it draws your eye into the narrowest part of a your body, thus creating a fabulously feminine figure flattering just about anyone.  Especially if you aren't very curvy, it will keep the dress from looking like it's just hanging on you :)  I'm also glad to see so many sweet-heart necklines.  It's nice to see the girly details stick around.  So pretty!

Happy Friday and I hope you all have a blessed Easter weekend!

Gown Friday: Vera Wang Spring 2012

Happy Friday! Blogger is driving me crazy this morning!! Anyone else finding it difficult to use it? Eh! But that will not keep me from sharing Vera Wang's Spring 2012 collection--I have been waiting all week to post this! You may have seen these dreamy dresses around already but I am sure it's impossible to grown tired of Vera's brilliant modern design, sumptuous color pallet and all of those ruffles, pleats, bows and poufs--*sigh*. It just makes my morning :)

See you next week!

Gown Friday: Matthew Christopher Spring 2012

Good morning!  In my search of some new wedding gowns this week I came across one of the first offerings of the Spring 2012 season!  I am so ready to see what the coming designs and trends will be for 2012!!  As for today, we have Matthew Christopher.  Combining modern-day elegance with classic Hollywood glamour he creates gowns with sophistication and flare.  Love the dress above with the embroidered belt at the natural waist and the tea-length bell skirt number at the very end!

Enjoy your weekend!

Gown Friday: Monique Lhuillier Fall 2011

For this spring break Friday, we have Monique Lhuillier's fall 2011 collection.  I have to admit, it completely slipped my mind that the first day of spring was this week...could be all the rain and wind we are experiencing!  Nothing says bridal like Monique.  She fulfills the fantasy of every girlie girl's dreams of a white wedding.  I especially love the dress with the off-the-shoulder sleeves and sheer overlay.  Such a beautiful neckline--simply stunning!

See you next week!
