Inspiration Board: Romantic Neutrals

There is something so beautiful about neutrals. They are clean, crisp, and chic. I love using neutrals in a soft romantic way. Fresh blooms and fruit in antique silver set the mood for elegance. Bring in some vintage wood pieces to add some rustic whimsy. Go for classic with a monogram invite. A gown like this Vera is just too dreamy! Pair it with some lace earrings to complete the look. All together, it creates an event full of sweet romance!

Inspiration Board: A Rustic Afternoon Tea

Today is my 50th inspiration board! I've come a long way from the beginning and have really enjoyed creating these for you, as I hope you've enjoyed looking at them! For today's board, I wanted something a little rustic and totally chic, with a touch of vintage thrown in. Fall doesn't always have to be deep and rich colors, this palate is light and airy yet still feels autumn appropriate. I am so in love with this stunning centerpiece. It is natural and earthy, yet elegant all at the same time. I like the idea of doing this as a sweet afternoon tea wedding. Place an unique vintage tea cup as the place setting with cute name tags on the tea bags. Serve adorable mini desserts and of course a lovely cake for the finale. For the gown, I am swooning over this Lela Rose fresh off the runways. It is so effortless and beautiful!

Inspiration Board: All Neutral

Neutrals have been really popular of late, and I couldn't be more in love with it! Those soft grays and tans are just too sweet! Today's inspiration board celebrates all that is girly, romantic, and earthy. Start off with a rustic venue, like an old barn or a charming wooden church. When using neutrals, lamb's ear in your bouquets and florals are a must! These soft sage gray leaves are so dainty and add so much texture. For your look, choose a dress with lots of soft layers like this Vera Wang. Go natural with the hair and makeup, pinning it back with a beautiful clip like this one from Twigs and Honey. And then check out these shoes! Just too stunning for words! The perfect choice for the bride wanting something soft and sweet!

Inspiration Board: Slate and Butter

Gray and yellow is a really popular color combo right now, but I am loving the more mellow version! A soft butter paired with a light slate gray is such a refreshing and modern combination. Start your bridal party off right with chic cocktail dresses, like this stunner from 57 Grand. I love this adorable ring bearer announcing the first dance! Such a sweet idea! Serve warm comfort food, like some buttery mashed potatoes. Don't forget about the details! Think about creating a signature motif, like this 'tying the knot' illustration, to use throughout your wedding. And I am completely smitten by the skeleton key trend! I love using it as name cards and it's a fun keepsake for guests!
