Leaving you for the week with these adorable shoe clips from Ban.do whom you may know from posts such as this. Via Oh Joy!
Have a great weekend everyone! I'll be raking leaves, planting bulbs and celebrating this week's major milestone of having reached my -15 lb goal since I started WW in September. I am at this very moment wearing size 4 pants. They are a big 4 but the tag says 4, and I couldn't be happier about it. Just in time for Thanksgiving! Three cheers for a solid week of skinny jeans!

twinkle toes

bluetoes
My kind of something blue! Love the little bows on the toes. Shoe clips from shop No. 114.

twinkle toes

This shop takes plain ol' shoes and makes them awesome! You know me, I'm a sucker for a little creative embellishment. From Paris xox.

orange and gold

orangeshoes
Alison emailed me the other day asking about orange shoes, and I immediately thought of J. Crew's selection of colorful pumps. I thought someone else might be interested in these for fall, they'd be perfect under an ivory gown!

fun for my feet

pumps
I really do love patterned pumps. Something about that unexpected dash of fun down by my tootsies, I just can't resist. These from J. Crew.

floral footsies

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Dell's parents were in town and we had a great time eating and chatting celebrating Dell's birthday... and eating. It was fabulous!
Since it was so nice this weekend, it had me thinking (daydreaming again) about sandals and warm weather. How 'bout these little beauties? Bows on your toes are classic, but flowers could be better! From Urban Minx.

"on trend"

crewshoes
J. Crew seems to have their finger on the pulse of wedding color trends this season. I can't tell you how many brides have come to me looking for gray and orange or pink and gray wedding invitations. Someone's been doing their homework! I wonder if this means that yellow and aqua is the next hot invitation color scheme? Would not surprise me!

air pumps

colehaan
When I was planning my wedding, I wanted fancy shoes. I thought that if I spent the money and got the Manolo's or the Jimmy Choo's that they would be miraculously comfortable and gloriously fashionable at the same time. How can something so fabulous cause pain? It must be like walking on piles of marshmallows, right?
Well, maybe sometimes, but not always. I tried a few options on, and let's just say that... gloriously fashionable? YES! Miraculously comfortable? Not so much.
This is why it intrigues me so much that Cole Haan has introduced some beautiful heels with Nike Air technology for comfort and support. I have not tried these, but I'm dying to find out if the holy grail of cute shoes has been achieved. First chance I get I will get myself to Neiman Marcus and attempt some wind sprints in these. In the mean time if anyone has a chance to try these out, let me know!

pretty patterned pumps

awesomeshoes
I love these all so much. Seriously? I would wear the grey polka dot ones with a ball gown, a party dress, or a bathing suit. In a boat, with a goat... all of the above. How surprising and chic would any of these patterned pumps be under your wedding gown? Love. All from J. Crew.

grass-friendly sandals

grassfriendly
My favorite grass-friendly sandals for outdoor weddings this spring! If you're looking for a heel, the turquoise wedges are just the right mix of dressy and dainty (from Lily Pulitzer). Both the flats would look amazing with a flowy grecian dress... The first ones are quite affordable, from Jessica Bennett. The second ones are Stuart Weitzman, and perhaps my favorite pair of the three, so delicate and feminine. Not a single stick-in-the-mud in the crowd!

can't wait!

jcrewshoos
Happy Halloween everyone! Our neighborhood gets tons of trick-or-treaters and I'm looking forward to handing out candy in my costume (I'm going to be a jockey, Shorty's gonna be ma race horse!). What's everyone else being?

So once Halloween is over (in my opinion) we're in "The Holiday Season". We set the clocks back, I start my Christmas shopping, there will be parties, family get-togethers, twinkle lights, and oodles of wedding proposals... I can't wait! I love the holidays. Does anything create a festive mood like fancy shoes? I think not! All from J. Crew.

bows on your toes

bowonsides
Um? Can I get that with the bow on the side? Thanx.

shoooooz!

sergiorossi3
In the mean time... Sergio Rossi and his shoes need your attention. They are too cute to be ignored. Perhaps you will take them to a party?

Oh, J. Crew. You make my feet look forward to parties.

sweet feet

You know those pictures...the one with just the bride and groom's feet. I love them! They always seem to speak volumes of a couple's personality. That is why finding the perfect shoe is such a fun component of a wedding. We're still in the process of deciding on shoes for our Marie Antoinette wedding. Any thoughts? I love these shoes by anthropologie. The pink candy shoes look sweet enough to eat! The blue ones are a great alternative for a bride with height restrictions. They are simple but offer a little pop of color.
These shoes by Pin up girl clothing also seem to fit the Marie Antoinette flair perfectly.

In Her shoes...

who doesn't need at least one more pair of shoes? In my quest to find the perfect Marie Antoinette bridal shoes such as the ones above featured in the movie..I came across these dainty, delicate, and amazingly beautiful pieces of art by Fete et Fleur that fell right from shoe heaven! ...Regal enough for the queen herself or a beautiful bride! If only they were made to dance the night away, they would be perfect under a gown of lace!

blushing bridal shoes

manolo
Manolo's Spring Collection includes the palest petal pink patent leather on several of their signature styles. Maybe it's because I'm watching Sex and the City reruns, maybe it's the intoxication of the shiny patent leather... whichever it is, my personal favorite is the Campari Mary Jane. The pink patent is available in several other styles as well, any of which would look amazing under your wedding gown!

the best of both worlds

piperlimeflats
A few weeks ago it was gold flats from J. Crew. Today it's silver ones from Piperlime. It's just so hard to resist comfort and beauty in the same shoe! I love the silver pebble details on the bottom ones, and the bows on the top ones are perfectly pretty without being overly precious.

the perfect party heel

fendishoe
Love these shoes! The V strap, the bow, the distressed metallic finish, all good. Just enough style, just enough class. Not for the faint of purse, but a wonderful splurge if you're looking for one.
