Etsy Find of the Week: Monsieur Cocarde

I have a confession. I love ribbon! It is part of why I love the holidays so much, because I get to wrap presents in lovely ribbon. My favorite ribbon is grosgrain and when I saw these adorable accessories by Monsieur Cocarde, I knew I had to share! These intricately folded beauties are perfect as boutonnieres! The trend for grooms is going non-floral for the bouts and these ribbon buttons would definitely be my pick! He uses gorgeous ombres and elaborate folds, creating something totally unique. These would also work great pinned to your bouquet as a brooch or even tucked into your hair as a ribbon flower! All in all, I'm totally in love!

Etsy Find of the Week: Honey Pie Headbands

This year, the headband is definitely ruling the hair world. They are fun, fresh, and oh so sweet. I have seriously fallen for the cute creations at Honey Pie Headbands! These darling designs are a must have for anyone looking for something a little different. They are perfect as a charming bridal look or a delightful any day look. My personal faves are this top adorable peachy bloom and bottom big bow!

Etsy Find of the Week: Breathe Couture

Today I have such a treat for you guys! If you are looking for unique, vintage, and utterly glamourous accessories for your wedding (or any day!) you must check out Breathe Couture! I stumbled across this shop the other day and was blown away! The statement necklaces are divine, the headbands are fabulously chic, and the veils are a complete "Wow" factor! Not only are the designs gorgeous, but the styling and photos are seriously stunning! Major props to Cathy Empey for the amazing shots! I am so falling for this first piece! What a way to glam up a simpler gown! Love love!!

Are you in love as much as I am? I'm dying to know which one's your fave??

Trend We Love

Vintage lace details have been popping up everywhere recently! I am so digging this trend! What a great way to add texture and detail! Whether transforming old doilies into flowers for the bouquets, or using lace ribbon in your favor packaging, it adds a little warmth and a sweet handmade feel. Speaking of handmade, how fabulous is this headpiece created with handmade lace?? So unique and completely fun!

What do you think? Will you be adding some lace details to your day?

Inspiration Board: Seafoam and Meringue

The other week Ever Ours (a lovely little blog you must check out!) held a giveaway from Ink and Button (whose little lovelies you might remember from here). I love Ink and Button's adorable fascinators so of course I entered! An extra entry was given to those who created an inspiration board inspired by the darling gem that was being given away. So, this is what I came up with!

I really love the fascinator's beautiful geometric quality. The way the felt is folded creates all this circular repetition, which is what I played into. These charming meringue cakes mimic the felt flower perfectly! As does this exquisite gown by Vera Wang! I brought in that little bit of gold, and again geometric repetition, in the accessories. Love this tiered necklace from Anthropologie and this jeweled clutch from Net-a-Porter!

Sadly, I did not win, but I still love this board inspired by the piece and wanted to share it will all of you!

Etsy Find of the Week: Hopelessly Devoted

What girl doesn't love bows? They are fun, whimsical, and utterly adorable! If you agree with me, you will fall head over heals for Hopelessly Devoted! Handmade out of velvet and silk, these fabulous headpieces are sure to add style, and lots of it! These bows have that chic vintage touch to complete your wedding day look or even add some whimsy to an engagement shoot! I'm also loving the small Jasmine Velvet bows as cute accessories for your bridal party!

PS- How gorgeous are these photos by Jono Winnel?! LOVE!

The designer, Gaby, also has another Etsy shop called Hopeless, full of stunning handmade vintage lingerie! If you love all things vintage like me, you MUST check these out because they are fabulous!

Etsy Find of the Week: Ink and Button

This week's Etsy find is for the bride looking for a fun and adorable way to accessorize her day. I am swooning over these cute felt floral accessories created by Ink and Button! Made out of felt, feathers, and vintage buttons, these flowers are not to be missed! Not only would one of these little guys look amazing tucked behind an ear, but I am loving the idea of using them as boutonnieres for the boys! Or pair it with a ribbon and it would make a charming belt for either you or your bridesmaids. Ink and Button loves creating custom orders and will work with you to help craft the perfect accessories for your wedding day!

My favorite is this last blue one! Cute, no? Which one would you love?

Etsy Find of the Week: Lo Boheme

I know I have been posting a lot of hair accessories and veil alternatives, but I had to introduce all of you to Lo Boheme! Their creations are absolutely gorgeous! I am in awe of their charming vintage details! I especially love the netting and rhinestone headbands, so unique! Plus, the stunning photos by Marisa Holmes make for lots of fabulous eye candy!

And I have to say, I have never been one for a garter (always seemed tacky and uncreative), but these garters are the most beautiful and unique that I have ever seen! I would have definitely worn one of these on my wedding day! So much more elegant and sexy than the elastic ribbon kind! LOVE!
