Etsy Find of the Week: Leanne Marshall

If you love Project Runway as much as I do, then you might remember season 5 winner, Leanne Marshall. Leanne was one of my faves from day one, so you can imagine my glee when I found out she has an Etsy shop! That's right, you can get a delightfully feminine and unique Leanne original all from the comfort of your Etsy search tab! I am seriously swooning over these stunning designs. They are perfect for the bride searching for something lovely, modern, and romantic!

Be sure to check out Leanne's blog for her latest projects and musings!

Etsy Find of the Week: Funkyshique

If you are planning a country chic wedding, there is no hotter detail right now than burlap! Why not combine it with another popular accessory, the banner! I am so falling for these adorable burlap banners by Funkyshique! So simple, yet completely sophisticated, and a touch of whimsy! With completely customizable designs and glitter, these beauties will add the perfect dash of charm to your wedding day!

Inspiration Board: Sweet as Honey

When I saw this amazing new gown from Vera Wang, I fell utterly in love! What a beautiful color! Neutrals are really in right now, and I am enamored with this sweet honey shade! And what better way to do a honey themed board, than with lots of treats! Serve delicious chocolates, caramels and shortbread cookies as a candy bar. Or, hide your caramels in cute little favor boxes tied with ribbon! Once I found this cuff by Kate Spade, it was pretty much meant to be! I love her whole bee inspired collection! It's the perfect way to tie together a theme!

Lovely Sunday

Gorgeous. Stunning. Utterly Breath-taking.

Lovely Sunday

This shot is just so amazing in so many ways!
Here's to a lovely Sunday...

Fashion: J. Crew Weddings

Let's just put it out there. J. Crew's new wedding collection is gorgeous! Their style is so simple, yet completely elegant. I'm loving the new details they've put into their new collection! This lace and ruffle stunner (which you might remember from yesterday's cocoa and cream board) is so lovely and feminine! I'm adoring the sweetheart necklines and the playful pockets (any dress with pockets has me at hello!) And that short lace number is just too fun! Their bridesmaid dresses are equally fabulous and are sure to please your pretty maids!

Which charming gown would you love to own??

Trend We Love

I'm loving the growing trend of brides wearing non-white wedding gowns! Though white is the traditional color, now a days, brides have the freedom to wear whatever they want. I think this trend adds so much personality to your wedding day! Here are three different brides with three very different styles who pull off this look seamlessly! This fashion trend is not for everyone, but with the right bride, is can be magic!

What do you think? Would you don a colored dress or is the white gown a wedding tradition
 you wouldn't skip?

Lovely Sunday

Let's start the week off right with one of my favorite icons!

A stunning beauty, style icon, loving mother, extraordinary woman:
Grace Kelly is the essence of Glamour and Grace

Style Craves

It is crazy hot here in Florida and jeans are a no go. Flowing and flirty is the only way to be!
I'm craving these hot summer dresses!

Etsy Find of the Week: Memorial Day Picks

Since its Memorial Day, instead of my Etsy Find of the Week, I thought I'd pull together some great Memorial Day Picks! So here are all the fix-in's you need for a classic Americana picnic!

Start the party off right with Sunday Girls Design's Barbeque Invitation and

A barbeque can't be complete without some treats like some Howling Wolf BBQ Sauce or KE Cookie's Red, White and Blueberry Cookies

Style Craves

It is a beautiful Saturday today here in sunny Florida! I shall be spending my day tending to my little vegetable garden. For my gardening days, I am really craving this awesome modern bench/bucket/watering can! This is just so ingenious! It is called the Sasa, designed by Finnish designer Kitta Perttula. I need one. Like right now! I have also had my eye on these beautiful antique spoon garden markers by Hammermann on Etsy! I must get this turquoise Martha Stewart pruner (for those who don't know, I'm obsessed with Martha's turquoise!) And of course a girl always has to look chic, even when she might get a little sweaty. I would love to wear this adorable white Ginny dress from J. Crew! Pair it with these shiny silver sandals and a fabulous floppy sun hat and you've got one stylish girl set to garden away!

Glamour and Grace Craves

The heat is here and summer is near! It's time to get the beach-wear out and I've found some sun-soaking goodies I'm craving for!

This slate ruffle one piece by J. Crew is just too adorable! I am seriously in love! Anthropologie's paprika jersey dress is perfect for throwing over your suit and looking fabulous. The matching sun hat will shade your face while keeping up the glamour. These raffia peep heels are seriously chic, but still look comfy. Round it all off with a linen ruffle wallet and some teal shades and you've got one stylish beach babe! I would love any (or all!) of these pieces if anyone is looking for a belated birthday present for me....

Bridal Look for Under $500

DIY Bride was having a little contest to create an inspiration board with a full bridal look for under $500. The look had to include the dress, shoes, hair accessory, and jewelry. I thought it would be a fun challenge and I was actually very surprised with what I found! I think I was able to create a high-end classic glamour look while still on a budget.

I really love this wedding gown by Aria! It is clean, classic, and gorgeous! Plus, it has pockets! Win! Only $205.
I added this chain link sequin sash from Nomsa on Etsy for a little more detail in the waist. $59
Love the ruffle shoes from Ann Marino! $49.95
Stunning bird cage veil created by Lo Boheme (who is my Etsy find of the week this week)! $50
The jewelry is from Anna Bellagio. The earrings are actually the ones I wore on my wedding! Love them! $68
The bracelet it awesome because it mimics the design in the sash! $38

Grand Total comes to $469.95! It can be done ladies! You can be on a budget without sacrificing style!

Style: Umbrellas

A friend of mine having an outdoor wedding in August asked me what I thought of the idea of having umbrellas for the guests. It got me thinking, with the abundance of outdoor weddings these days, weather can be unpredictable. Umbrellas have become a new chic accessory to help combat both rain and sun. Here are a few different ways to use umbrellas in your outdoor wedding:

Vintage Parasols
A chic and vintage addition to complete your wedding style.
Can be found at such websites as Bella Umbrella.

Oriental Paper Parasols
A very popular way to use umbrellas that come in a variety of colors to match your perfect wedding shade.

Umbrellas
Just regular umbrellas are the most practical, but can also be very glamourous and create some beautiful photos as well.

My friend had found some black umbrellas at the dollar store and I think they are a great cheap idea as not only a favor that people would use again, but also practical if it does end up raining. Just plain old black umbrellas can have a beautiful and simplistic effect.
